Huangshan Today

Family reunions are something to look forward to but where to celebrate it, is something else.  We formed a committee with a representative from each family to facilitate organization and minimize commotion.  We knew http://www.horizonmyrtlebeach.com was one of the target places.

We held it in a Myrtle Beach hotel where parking was excellent and fortunately free since the affair was for one week end.
Horizon at 77th is one of Myrtle Beach best hotels.  It had an indoor, an outdoor pool and a spa for the fishes in our big family or for  those who just love to wade or get their feet wet.  Some of the children made sand sculpture or just pretended to gather sea shells. There was a golf course for those who know, knew or wish to venture into the sport.  Each room had kitchens, refrigerators, stovetops and microwaves so all our meals were prepared and cooked by joint efforts of mothers, grandmothers and all who like to cook.  Laundry did not become a problem because washers/dryers were provided and we always had clean clothes.  The indoor types watched others frolic from their respective balconies or merge in some other’s balcony exchanging chit-chat and idle gossip and their laughter could be heard a mile away.

The reunion was a complete success and we will definitely be returning to it as separate families or may be hold other reunions there too.
